To protect the health, safety and well-being of the residents of the Town of Grafton.
Board of Health
The Board of Health meets the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at 7:00 P.M. in Conference Room D of the Grafton Memorial Municipal Center.
Agendas for these meetings close at 4:30 p.m. on the Thursday prior to the meeting. Agendas are posted 24 hours in advance.
Minutes, when finalized and approved by the Board, are filed in the Town Clerk’s Office and the Grafton Center Library. A copy is also kept in the Board of Health Office.
Services
Well Adult / Blood Pressure Screening Clinics at two locations each month: Board of Health Office and Forest Lane (dates and times are posted in the local Grafton News and on Grafton’s Cable Station). During these clinics, residents are also provided with education and referrals regarding various health related issues and concerns.
Influenza Immunization Clinics each Fall (with dates and times posted in the local Grafton News and on Grafton’s Cable Station).
Rabies Clinic for dogs and cats each Spring to the residents of Grafton.
CPR and First Aid Training Programs to the residents of Grafton.
Drop-off site for mercury-containing products (i.e. thermostats, thermometers, blood pressure units, button cell batteries and fluorescent tubes.
The Board of Health is an active participant in the Grafton Emergency Management Agency, GEMA.
The Board of Health issues Applications that can be faxed with the exception of the Application For Disposal System Construction Permits which are a two part form and can be mailed or picked up.
